At Mobile IT Force, nothing is more important than the health and well-being of our clients, our employees, and our shared community. As the situation with COVID-19/Coronavirus evolves, we’re committed to giving you the support and resources to navigate this challenging time.

Mobile IT Force is continuously monitoring the COVID-19 situation and data from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and is following its guidelines, including recommendations on travel, safety, and personal health. We are taking important and critical measures to ensure the safety of all. The health and safety of our tightly knit island community is our highest priority.

As of Wednesday, March 18, and until further notice, Mobile IT Force (MITF) has limited on-site support services as the community copes with the spread of COVID-19/Coronavirus. Reliable IT support is always essential, and we want our clients to feel they are supported as they continue their work during these trying times. However, we must also balance the risks of our role as potential vectors in the growing spread.

Therefore, we are limiting our on-site support services to mission-critical tasks. We are coordinating with our clients to understand how best we can adhere to the most updated best practices and guidelines regarding safe work practices.

MITF continues to take additional precautions to promote employee safety and prevent the spread of COVID-19/Coronavirus. We are committed to supporting our clients in their mission. Still, we hope to have your patience and understanding as we work with you to prioritize the work at hand.

As a community, we are all focused on managing the unprecedented COVID-19/Coronavirus situation with both urgency and a deep sense of care. We also recognize you have heightened needs for technology during this challenging time. To help meet these needs, we are:

  • Leveraging our multi-vendor partners and working closely with suppliers to continue delivering products and services for our customers.
  • Working with our internal technology experts and partners to ensure Mobile IT Force and client business continuity plans are sound, providing useful information about the most common requests we are receiving (e.g., secure remote work best practices and setting up remote conferencing/collaboration solutions).
  • We are managing our supply chain and making every effort to understand and offset the potential impact of area closures, production, and delivery delays.

Benefit from our experience helping our Hawaii State Government, Health, and Education sector clients set up and implement their emergency work plans.

These plans have two primary goals. First, to protect our people and second to protect our clients’ data. We have implemented plans to protect clients by supporting the infrastructure to facilitate large numbers of people working remotely.

The plans include leveraging special supplementary systems, remote sites, and an enhanced technology infrastructure supporting remote work to enable our client’s people to operate during this very difficult period.

Not everyone has long planned for an emergency such as this. If you are like our Hawaii State clients and need to work with sensitive data and information, check out our guides for securing the data on your Windows 10 Pro here.
